Other reviews stated how bad the battery is and I have to say the battery that came with the unit is near dead on arrival. I got one use of it then it was out. $14 got me a 10 pack of batteries and I'm blasting at full power! I first tried this on my AR, and although it works, it is not feasibly comfortable. I then put it on my Kriss and am very satisfied. It was almost zeroed out of the box, it's lightweight, it shoots an IR laser that I can see practically up to about 50(ish) yards (in my environment). I have an Enforce WML for my IR light source and it doesn't overkill the laser dot.
2 things that might be obvious, might not, 1: you can't see the beam with or without NVGs, just the dot with NVGs. 2: there is no momentary on, if you push/hold the button it brightens/dims the dot. I find the low setting is adequate.
IR lasers are expensive, this is the cheapest option I've found that's not made of chineseium. I think it's good on a PCC, or pistol, just doesn't have the form for a rifle in my opinion.
Pros:
- good value
- works
- Lightweght
Cons:
- No momentary on
- limited form factor
Best Used for:
- passive aiming with Night vision

Yeah it would be nice to have a green visible laser option with it, but for the price you get a solid IR laser to use in the dark with your PVS-14. Great for night hunts or even home protection when things go bump at night when the lights are out. Buy extra batteries (they’re relatively cheap) because the one it comes with doesn’t last long. It’s easy to leave it on accidentally since you can only see it with IR capable devices.
On Off switch is great, it’s easy to turn on even with gloves on. You will probably need to find a new holster for your handgun, but that applies to just about any add on rail laser so you probably already know that.
Since you’ll need a dark space to use it, sighting it in will require some time and a little creativity, like maybe a bore laser to align it initially. But don’t let that keep you from considering purchasing it. Just have some ideas prepared and manage your expectations.
Again, this is a solid IR laser for under $300, but that’s exactly what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope this review helps provide some clarity.
Pros:
- easy to use , great price

Product was packaged well. Easy to install and use on my AR. Worked great with my NVG. I’m not 100% but i think it was zeroed at 15 - 20 yards. The only downside is the battery (3V lithium CR-1/3 N) seems uncommon; wanted to purchase extras, and I couldn’t find them even at Rite-Aid, not sure whether that’s a supply chain issue? Oh well. Will look on internet.

Mounted it onto my Springfield XDM. It’s simple to mount and operate, easy to use and aim with NVGs. No perceptible degradation over distance. The device came out if the box virtually zeroed to 15-25 yards. An Excellent purchase and product.
