Most Helpful Positive Review Im using this item
Perfect case for storing my valuables. I can protect my p o r n collection with no worries of damage. The videos of hardcore stuff are always safe from damage. And even my s e x swing fits in there nicely. My only worries are if my collection gets too big it wont fit.

Very dependable-Almost TSA/Baggage handler proof

by HEY DAVE, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on February 1, 2020
We have six (6) of these iM2950 Storm cases with over 300,000 air miles and at least 100,000 miles transported in the back of our F150 & F350 trucks since 2016. We typically carry and store test equipment / tools with each case Gross Weight of 60 to 70 pounds. Field replaced two latches and one wheel which were covered by PELICAN Warranty claims. Did not have to ship back to PELICAN. Just provided photos of damaged parts and they sent replacements. Never had one of these cases fail in-transit as they have 5 latches, even when airline damaged latches. Basic case is 9 pounds lighter than the same size standard PELICAN case so we can carry more gear. We travel from tropical to winter climates with no leaks or crush damage. Retractable handle and recessed wheels work very well and easy to move even at 70 pounds. Just ordered another iM2950. Extremely dependable! Consistent with my first PELICAN case purchase in 1987, which is still being used in a company field truck.
Pros:
  • VERY DEPENDABLE
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • All purpose

Makes For Great Luggage!!!

by Bobroo, from IL, United States Written on February 21, 2015
I use these as luggage. No foam, no dividers, or lid compartments. A couple of drawbacks but lots of advantages. Pelican does make luggage with a couple rough spots worked out but by no means justifies the substantial increased Pelican luggage cost. Pelican luggage is more attractive and does has a better handle; only requiring one hand for deployment.
The IM2950 hinge is the entire length of the back of the case. This makes for a sturdier lid with less flex. The corresponding Actual Pelican case has two individual hinges. The actual Pelican case has plastic wheels, which are louder when rolled on hard surfaces. The handle is much, much flimsier; check out any picture. The IM2950 has inline skate wheels which are rubbery and quiet.

Overall there could be two improvements. 1) create a slot for identification or reinforce the case so that screws could be used to affix identification. 2) allow for 4 swivel wheels on the bottom

If you are having difficulty which model to choose; look no further than the Storm IM2950. It has the best bang for the buck and costs only slightly more than brand name luggage but with all the benefits of a Pelican case.
