Most Helpful Positive Review Clipmate 3-LED pocket flashlight & headlamp
Drawbacks are you can't loan this flashlight to others because the twist on/off encourages people to mistakenly spring the batteries out of the other end. The plastic on the battery end shatters when dropped after 20 months; then the battery end will not stay in or the clip breaks off. But because of the very strong clip with almost a 180 d range, using it as a general flashlight that fits in your pocket and can be clipped onto your pants or hat when carrying stuff in the dark is superb. Great pocket flashlight!

This pocket flashlight is just what I wanted; powerful, light, small. I removed the alligator clip as soon as it came, which was easy (just pull clip out of ball-and-socket joint). Price is low versus competing products, so I'm happy.

great addition for patrol vehicles

I purchased the green LED Clipmate to use in my patrol truck. It emits enough light for me to easily read drivers licenses, proof of insurance, and other documents. The green LEDs do an excellent job of preserving my night vision. The clip is strong and able to hold on to a sun visor even when driving off road.

Clipmate green

Use extensively hunting. Pre-dawn and after sundown walk-ins and outs are well lit without providing too much glare. Hunt in harsh wet environment of the Everglades, works great. Great value.
