this charger/holder is very sturdy. It is made of good materials and seems like it will last a long time. It charges the battery very quickly also. The only drawback I've noticed is that since the spring loaded clamps grip the light so tightly, its possible to pull the charger off its wall mounting after repeated uses. Due to its width, trying to mount the charger on a stud requires a lot of precision as you have to stay away from the weak stud edges. Not a big deal though....

This strion flashlight is great. It is very bright and easy to handle. I bought it thinking my stinger charger would work for it but it didn't. Had to order charger separate but it works great. Can use power cord from any streamlight charger or a mini-usb plug like on your android. Kind of expensive unit all together but works great and is dependable.
