TLR-1-HLX for Glock 17

Works well on my G17g3. Easy install. I like the option of going with a rechargeable/disposable battery. TLR-1-HLX adds a nice amount of weight to the front, to help reduce "muzzle flip". The beam on this light is incredible!!!

Why not run the latest offering from Streamlight?

This is an upgrade over the TLR-1-HL and I have them both. I like the new battery door location, although I've never had to replace the batteries in my HL. I really like the location and tactile feel of the buttons over the switch. The size is slightly different, so it will require a new holster. It's not worth swapping it out, but I would definitely recommend buying a new pistol and getting this WML.

Streamlight multi fuel

I believe read a few other reviews and 1 thing stuck out was the fit with holsters. I have a G40 mos, and got holster for G40 mos with intentions of the TLR-1, figured might still fit this multi fuel, it's not a perfect fit, as the top snap just bit of reach. figuring can either add a snap or some heavy duty velcro for back strap. another, not seeing where 1 would plug into the light for recharging, but when comparing recharge or the cr123 batteries, might be better off with the cr123 batteries since has 30 min run time longer. do like how able to change the batteries, the flip down in front. i will probably get another one of these lights for another G17, and shotgun, rifle, just not all at once unless get a really good deal.
