Most Helpful Positive Review TLR1-HL-X is a huge upgrade over the TLR1-HL and should be purchased
TLR1-HL-X can be sold in two configurations; with SL-B9 batteries OR with CR123A batteries. The SL-B9 battery has a USB-C port to recharge the battery while the CR123A is a one time use. Most Helpful Negative Review Worst “upgrade” ever
• Keys aren't to 1913 spec • Keys can't be changed due to a stupid clip on the set screw and the tool to remove it is super flimsy plastic • Removed all the positive strobe and paddle flip abilities of the TLR-1.

The New Golden Standard

My new go to pistol light. Bright and enough beam to cover a good chunk of land, cheaper then a surefire and outperforms everything on the market. Only thing that needs to be done is more holster compatibility.

Another solid Streamlight option

Streamlight are generally my go-to for any kind of light. Our inspection lights at work are all Streamlight, I have a TLR-7 HL-X on my carry pistol and I put this TLR-1 HL-X on a 4.25" 2011 I plan to run for IDPA/USPSA and it's perfectly sized (flush or peeks out just past the muzzle). This light is CRAZY bright and the beam is very focused. I love that I can pull the batteries to charge them without removing the light from the gun.

While a tad bigger than I initially expected, it’s a very strong and sturdy light. I appreciate that the rechargeable batteries are easy to access, and it works wonders with my tier 1 concealed light bearing holster.
