I knew i wouldn’t go wrong with gettin this combo on sale, i have been waiting and it’s worth the sale price Optics planet Rocks!!. laser strong no play the real deal ur life depends on it good, also the light is Powerful big times. I have this on my 8” ARP , the function is sweet good switches Quality.

Streamlight TLR-2 Tactical Light Plus Laser

I purchased the Streamlight TLR-2 for a pistol that I have because the slide doesn’t have a place to mount an RMR.
Having purchased other Streamlight tactical lights here on Optics Planet, I knew what I was getting.
Set up and installation was as simple as the other Streamlight tactical lights.
The Streamlight TLR-2 is perfect for the firearm that needs a laser for accuracy and the light.
I highly recommend this particular tactical light to everyone.

Easy. Accurate

Attached easily and quickly to my Sig P2022. Very accurate laser after some tweaking of up/down and wind. Takes some time. Extremely bright at 1000 lumens. Switching takes a little getting used to. Pricey. But happy.

Bright and accurate

I added this to an AR Pistol. It is very bright and the dot will show up out to about 12 yards in the day light. Inside the house for home defense it is perfect. Daytime or nighttime the dot is very bright. I removed the light added the pressure switch, put it back and it held zero. Perfect for my intended purpose.

Love this light!

This is the best pistol weapon light out there! For one it’s 800 lumens of blinding room clearing light. This is the HL or high lumen model of the stream light series and let me tell you, the beam this light gives is fantastic and super bright and a major flood beam that lights up everything within the room. No blindspots or shadows. Plus this has a red laser too. Also a strobe function that is super cool! Fits perfectly on my Glock and can be turned on momentary or constant activation. There is also a switch for light only, laser only or both as the same time. Great value and price compared to other brands that are more expensive and not as bright. This was also on sale and optics planet was competitive on the price.

Quality Product

I have purchased four of these and mounted on 10mm and 9mm pistols, an ar 15 and 12 gauge shotgun (Home defence). I chose to go with a single type of light/laser for my primary weapons for ease of use and familiarity for both myself and my fiancee who is relatively new to firearms. I have yet to test with the shotgun. I am a multiple tour combat veteran and value simplicity of operation and reliability in all possible climate conditions. The price is very reasonable in comparison to comparable systems. I chose the red laser over the green because I am color limited in my vision and do not see green as well as red.

  • Only one allen tool provided, easly dropped and lost
Best Used for:
  • Target shooting / hunting

TLR-2 HL on Mossberg Shockwave 590

Mounted this light/laser on Mossberg Shockwave 590 12 ga. Works great. Easy to mount. Simple to operate. I like being able to choose either light or laser. Controls are large and darkness or gloves will not impede operation.

  • I have a number of Surefire flashlights and a quantity of Surefire CR123 batteries. Streamlight excludes Surefire batteries from the approved brands.

3 gun shooter

great unit, I use it on the picatanny rail ahead of the fore grip on my 458 socom. it provides instant on with either the light or laser or both. my only issue was the procedure to switch from sold light to strobe could use less of a thought process if it was used in a high stress situation, by adding another switch position to activate the strobe rather than toggling the the current switch. other than that it is a great tactical light.

  • switch could be easier to go from solid to srobe beams

Just an Average Joe--tactical enthusiast

I bought both the TLR-2 HL and the TLR-2 HL G. Both are great. Advantages to both lasers pending the conditions. Can't say enough about the 800 HL light...extremely bright. And the strobe is a weapon by itself--should paralyze any threat, no doubt. Fits snugly to my Sig Legions (P226 & P229). 4 different type mounts: 1913 Picatinny rail, Glock, S&W, & Beretta. Highly recommend to anyone in the market for a light/laser combo.

Steamlight TLR-2

This is a very bright light and would recommend it to anyone. It was an easy installation and stayed tight after many rounds on my glock 19. It lights up my entire yard when outside and will blind any intruder in the home.
