in my 9 years working nights in the NYPD, i have tried MANY differnt lights and this one by far isthe BEST! supervisors call me to locations when light is needed for searching...EVERYBODY that i come accross is impressed, and i have to be first now walking into buildings looking for perps...
Pros: small, super bright, lasts for ever on 4c batteries, very affordable, compact.

Excellent light and good value, like most Streamlight products
Purchased for coyote hunting with red and green filters. I don’t recommend these since the dim the light so much, but the base unit is excellent. A trigger lockout would be a good idea since the plastic holster isn’t really for carrying it around, but the build quality is great and the beam characteristics are very good.
Best Used for:
- Boating, camping, searching from UTV or vehicles

What a spotie
Been looking for his type of light for ages. Well built and reliable. Use it every night to check my livestock and hunt foxes and wild dogs. I should have bought 2 all my mates want one. I keep it by my bed when sleeping and in the truck when out on the hunt. Love the adjustable power and strobing mode, have used the strobe function to attract the attention of law enforcement agencies when responding to a rescue.

Good Price
OpticsPlanet offered this light for an affordable price. Easy shopping and quick shipping. I will always check OpticsPlanet before I use any other site. If I do find a cheaper price they will match the price.

Great spotlight for the price
I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this item. This is a quality brand. The product itself is built well, feels good in the hand, and is reliable in the two months I've had it. I would not agree that this reaches out to 625m unless what you are lighting up an object that is highly reflective. For example: I can light up a stop sign 1000yds away easily, but I cannot illuminate and see a large tree at 600yds away. My estimate range of use is about 350 to 400 yds for a non-reflective object. At that range you will be able to see something there, however not fine details or anything. It is very bright and focused until about 200 to 250 yds. I did purchase another product (more expensive) as a comparator that was 1000 lumens and advertised to illuminate out to 725yrds. The Streamlight product narrowly beat it out, and I returned the other spotlight.

bought this light about 12 years ago I'm a service electrician and this light has been through it all. the only problem I have with this light is my coworkers trying to get their hands on it and I will never see it again. Believe me they have all tried.

Not a Rechargable
Optics Planet needs to change the title of this item. Streamlight WayPoint Spotlight with 12V DC Charger is incorrect. This light is not rechargable. This model uses standard C-cell batteries. The 12 volt power cord is used only to power the item using your own 12 volt power source. It will not recharge your batteries even if you have rechargable C-cell batteries installed in the light. With that said, I knew what I was buying because I read the manufacturer's information. I wanted a light that I could change batteries as needed instead of having to locate a power source and wait for a charge.
I am very satisfied with this light. It is sufficiently bright and focused, very well made, well balanced and compact. It's everything I was looking for. There is a rechargable version of this light, but this is not it.

Streamlight WayPoint Spotlight
this light is amazing. It is very bright and has a great focus beam. the low beam is great and the strobe is highly effective. everything great has gone into this light in every way and optics planet delivers a great price and fast shipping. you will not be disjointed.

LOve it
I have bought 5 of these total and have given 4 of them as gifts. Everyone likes them and uses them often.
Pros: Great lighting, great battery life out of C cell batterys
Cons: only thing I dont like is my 12 Volt cord broke at the tip that plugs into the power outlet.
