Excellent Gas Block
After fitting my 16" AR with a suppressor, I quickly realized it was severely over gassed and needed to be tuned. Ordered this gas block to fix the problem, and after 120 rds, it worked out perfectly. After installing, I headed to the range, after firing the first few rds with it half open, it was still ejecting in the 2-3 o'clock range. Adjusted it closed 1 more click and it was perfectly the rest of the session, ejecting at 3-5 every time and creating a nice little pile of brass. Installation was straight forward, watch the video Strike has before installing and it is simple. Adjusting is a bit tricky with a slim hand guard but can be done with a small flathead or allen key.

Snapped screws
The 3 screws that clamp block onto barrely snap easily. I torqued mine to spec, shot 1000 rounds, one of the bolts snapped and was missing. Noticed it when swapping handgaurds, couldve happened a long time ago.

SI adjustable gas block
Installed on a 300 blackout barrel; just what I needed to get the gas system dialed in. Being able to adjust the collar through the Mlok hand guard is awesome. Note: I would be easy on the hardware. No reason to over tighten furring the install. Also, I found if you pull the gas block towards the collar when you are tightening the three torx, it helps keep everything square. The little detent in the face of the gas block, will try to push away from the collar.

I like it enough to recommend
Strike Industries had a great idea with this adjustable gas block. I think it could use just a bit more fine tuning for it to be perfect. When you put the collar all the way on as it should be the adjuster gets stuck and can not be adjusted. So on mine I had to move it just slightly to be able to adjust it. I want to give it a 5 star but just that issue alone pushes it to a 4.5 for me. Also I don't know if this is just mine so don't pass on this item.

work flawlessly after 500 rounds
Can shut off gas completely or turn it all the way up for unsuppressed shooting. About setting 3 or 4 is perfect for my suppressor. Shut off the gas and you basically have a bolt gun and not a bleed off like some of the others.

Perfect Gas Block
Excellent fit and finish. Installed exactly as described with no issues. Functions as advertised to reduce gas in 6 positions from open to closed. Allows me to cycle my 300blk suppressed, unsuppressed, with or without subsonic. Highly recommend!
