Surprisingly sturdy.
I bought this a few years ago and put my Vudu in it. I was looking to make a transition into a scope mount setup that had an option of mounting an 1x optic at 12 o'clock as well. Purpose was to make something quicker for getting rid of varmints on my farm, and this gun lives in the floorboard getting trashed. I didn't feel a need to upgrade the mount. It bounces, gets hits, has had some serious falls and rides. Has not lost zero and has impreased me where I didnt feel a need to shop the $300-$400 range for a mount.
Not saying if i had something duty purposed I'd use it, but it'll be benhard pressed to put a firearm setup through a worse life than my AR is living right now.

This mount will need to be lapped before mounting a scope, just wish they said so outright in the description. Like so many SI products, the idea is neat but execution is mechanically poor. The weight of the mount adds up with an optic as well. Just figure out where you want your optic to sit and get an aero cantilever mount for less anyways.
