I've had this product for five years now, and I wanted to share my thoughts on how it’s performed during that time. First off, it’s built like a tank—super durable and well-made. However, I’ve noticed that the market has really changed since I first bought it. By 2025, there are definitely better options out there for AK platforms that provide more bang for your buck.
One thing I’ve struggled with is the length of pull, which adds an extra two inches to a stock that’s already longer than the original. Because of this, I'm planning to get a new stock adapter for my rifle. On the flip side, I do appreciate the built-in quick-detach points and the sleek design—it looks great. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to shorten the length by an inch to make it a bit more user-friendly. Overall, it's done a good job for me, but with newer options available, I think it’s time for me to explore what's out there.

Mounted on a WASR-10, and the screws it came with protrude out and won’t let the recoil spring slide back into place. Went to the hardware store and got different screws to alleviate this, then it installed just fine. No fabrication needed like with other AKM accessories.

Aside from having to buy different screws to mount it on, this is a good product to upgrade your AKM and get endless stock options when you put in a buffer tube. The QD points are a huge plus! Sturdier construction than some of the polymer buffer tube stocks you’ll see on here.

Worked well on my R G74. No metal work needed, just drop and go. Will need a AR wrench to tighten things down. I also needed to add a washer to keep the stick horizontal; not a issue with the adaptor, just the AR. No buffer spring needed. No wobbling noted, and matte finish is good.

I love the fit and finish. The price point is excellent. I would recommend this to anyone with a Wasr 10 since that is the application I used the stock adapter on. If you are on a budget and or like high quality buy this item lol

I ended up using the Strike Industries AK Stock Adapter. It did not fit so I had to remove some of the metal to get to fit. It’s a well made product, but it did not fit as the dimensions of the Adapter were too large. Additionally the tang screws that were provided had to have the heads filled down to accommodate the charging handle spring. I spent several hours filling down the metal and measuring. Now I have to take it apart again and repaint the parts. The solution is inexpensive but if it’s too big you will have spend a couple of hours making fit.

The reason I purchased this part was because it’s an adaptable system to accommodate various size trunnions. Little did I realize that the part was too wide for a Vepr AK-47 rifle that uses the RPK thicker stamped metal receiver.

Been on the lookout for some nice add-ons to take my stock WASR10 to something more and this was just the thing. It allowed me to put MagPul furniture on it and reduce the weight significantly while also making it much more ergonomic.

This product is great to change your traditional Ak stock to accept a buffer that will give you more stock options. Easy to install and fits nice and snug with no wobble. Quality construction and craftsmanship, looks clean and like it belongs

Solid made very strong. Great price. Just add buffer tube stock and go. QD point is useful. I never like the collapsible stock options for aK's because the buttstock was not up to the standard I like. This option allows you to use any buttstock that will fit on an AR.

Solid aluminum adapter for using an ar tube and stock on your ak47. Easy to install and finish black matches pretty well. If you like metal parts instead of plastic this is as low cost as it gets. Matched this with a trinity force ar tube and stock and got the rear replaced for about $60 total. kyra11.
