Easy install, but did not fit nor close.
I was able to install it quite easily on my Ar15 NEMO upper, but it did not fit over the port opening, so would not close. Might work for others but not for me. I'd recommend the manufacturer look more closely at this issue.

Dust isn't in with wind
I have enjoyed having these strike industries dust covers on multiple AR's. They are light weight, easy to install and lock up solid. I've never experienced any issues with them being polymer, even when the system is Hot. I don't know why it's necessary to have the old style cover that has the long rod which goes under the handguard, just a pain in the backside

I've been using this ejection port cover for years and I can't find a better one on the market. They are so easy to install and they fit just like they should. They are so easy to install and they look so nice. And what makes them even better is that the locking ball tension and height is adjustable.

These dust covers are a must have. Lightweight they seal the port extremely well and don’t make that ping sound when hit hits the upper/lower. Bought one for my Sig MCX and SFAR. Going to buy one for my SBR when I decide to upgrade.
