These are simple steel shims to help you dial all your muzzle devices properly on .223 barrels. Just combine the necessary number of shims in order to mount your muzzle device 1/4 turn away from perfect. Then rotate to the exact point with a torque wrench or by "eye ball" method.
Perfect Shim Combinations for Proper Fitting
This Strike Industries shim kit provides multiple mm shims to make it work! Obviously it took a little trial an error as expected to match up the appropriate mm for proper fit, but the appropriate sizes and number of shims per mm are here to make it work. I highly recommend this and Strike Industries products in general.

I built an AR with a faxon 7.5" 300blk barrel and 7" MI combat rail. With a rugged qd muzzle device, I needed just a little more length to fully engage the dual taper lock. This shim set was perfect. I used the 2mm shim, and it gave me all the space i need. Highly recommend this shim set for the orice and quality.
