Perfect to enhance milspec
I think I like these better than the charging. Handles SI sells that comes with these. This latch is easy to install and is all you need to make charging your AR a lot easier. Honestly, I feel this a necessary upgrade for every AR.
Do it! You will like it.
Added this to my PCC with a Si handle and it fit great. Makes single side charges easy, even with the added spring weight of a PCC. Includes a pin and spring. Would probably be good for a low scope setup as well.

Great low cost upgrade
If you are not shooting suppressed and want a simple yet effective extended latch charging handle, buy 2 of these for the cost of 1 upgraded changing handle and put those milspec ones you have to good use. For installation, use a thumb tack to hold the assembly together so the roll pin can be driven in.

I wanted an extended latch that makes it easy to work the charging handle under a scope and this does that perfectly. It's no so large that it gets in the way like others I've tried but extended enough to make it easier to manipulate the charging handle. Will be ordering more for other rifles

I ordered a Strike Industries extended latch charging handle. I ordered this red latch with it to add a little color to the carbine and make the latch stand out. Very happy with the charging handle and extended latch. Not overbearing at all (which some are). Makes it very easy for left handed, single side charging. Seems sturdy for longevity and stable to pull one side. Did not interfere with the way my rear flip-up offset sight is mounted. Would order again when/if ever needed.

So Much Easier to Reach
Very happy with this extended latch. Allows much easier access to the charging handle with my optics. Very sturdy to charge from one side. Does not stick out too much as so many charging latches do. Red adds just a little color to the carbine and makes the latch stand out. Exactly what I was looking for.

I've purchased several different latches in the past but for me this one looks and functions the best. Simple to install on a standard charging handle and makes it easy for one-handed charging. Much cheaper than purchasing an aftermarket charging handle.

Easy to install on your standard charging handle. Punch the roll pin out (1/16" roll pin punch), take the old one out and put the extended latch in. Roll pin is provided. I just used the old spring. Has just the right amount tension. Just the right size, not too big not too small. Making charging with left hand easier.
