Most Helpful Negative Review Do NOT reccommend
SI is one of my favorite accessory manufacturers. In the last 5 years they have had a renaissance in design and styling that I love. They also have shown innovation and have a large selection. I was pleased that they offer a “brace” model of the dual folding stock. However, this thing is EXPENSIVE! ...

Great folding brace. Easy to install and works as described. Attachment by pic rail is very secure and the brace appears to be well made.

Weak mount screws

by Dave, from ID, United States Written on August 23, 2026
The mount screws sheared off, not overtightened, within 200 rds. Tried to contact the company for tap and die size and replacement data for the screws and all they kept saying is send an invoice. I think I was dealing with AI, but anyway now I'm stuck with a brace that can't be mounted. Cheap material used on an expensive brace.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • cheap materials
Best Used for:
  • recycle

Strike industries dual folding brace

by Dalton Maahs, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on August 18, 2026
I’ve had it for a total of 2 weeks and a small piece has already broken off, the brace no longer locks in the folded position, just flops around. I took it to the range twice. Usually strike industries is great products but I’m super disappointed for a nearly $200 brace.
Pros:
  • Looks cool
Cons:
  • Not durable at all under very light use
Best Used for:
  • Toy Guns

Solid substitute for the stock.

by Bluekup, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on July 31, 2026
Meets the requirement in order not to run your SDP into a SBR. No problems yet but when folded towards the ejection port the butt of the brave is cutting it CLOSE. Only matters if you plan on shooting collapsed.
Pros:
  • Light weight, can fold in both directions.
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • CQB

Looks good but

by BV, Verified Owner from NV, United States Written on July 20, 2026
Looks good. Metal seems to be quality. The problem is the hinge assembly, the buttons you press to fold the stock are not smooth and get stuck along with the the hinge getting stuck in the folded position and pressing the button in its folded position causes the hinge assembly to become unaligned and useless. Needless to say it was returned.

Not to bad

by FitnPipe7161529, Verified Owner from MO, United States Written on July 19, 2026
Easy install. Functions as advertised. Havent taken it out and ran it so im not sure its level of durability but seem pretty solid. A slight spring assist on it would have made it more impressive.
