I've got the gridlok and gridlok lite on two rifles. beautiful form and function. disregard Jake, he's a bit tar tar. the leverage bar has dual adjusters on either side of the handguard so too tight or loose isn't an option.

good handguard but some limitations
I bought this handguard for a tucked suppressor build. The 1.6 was a little small as it miced at 1.57 it barely fit what I was aiming at. The build quality seems solid and finish is great. My only real complaint is I can’t use the quick release if I have the suppressor attached.

Best Used for:
- anything wothout a larger diameter if you want to take advantage of the quick release feature.

Gridlock Handguard
The gridlock hand guard is well thought out and the finish is top notch inmo I love how it fits together with my suppressor and to be able to remove it to adjust my gas block if needed is a bonus for me instead of having to use a long Allen wrench and trying to look through the side of the other hand guard is awesome inmo I would definitely recommend it if you are on the fence looking at it and I plan on getting more of them in the future for next builds

Gridlok 8.5im handgaurd
The gridlok handgaurd is great quality and convenient when want to take off. No tools needed. Shipping was fast.

Top notch product
Very well built and the finish is grippy but not sharp. Really well built , installs easily and easy to adjust tightness with provided tool. Latch locks in place and makes taking it off and on a breeze. (I took it off and on a half dozen times just because it's fun and easy)

Excellent for adjustable gas blocks
Most rails covering an adjustable gas block prevent adjustments. This system is the answer. The locking mechanism is very robust and I like the pop-up front sight. It is a bit heavier due to its construction but it's a fair trade when nothing else works. I have more than one, I'm that satisfied.

We were able to get this on a Sig M400 Tread with minimal issues (change the barrel nut out with the one included with this handguard).The handguard is fantastic! It feels good and looks great! We would highly recommend this product to anyone looking to change their handguard out regardless of make or model of AR you own. Again, we got this installed on a Sig M400 and it looks awesome!

Well made handguard
The handguard is well made with a smooth finish. The aluminum body did not heat up when fast firing to any noticeable degree. The only draw back is the ears for the set screws are not universally compatible with uppers. I had to do some fitting to get them to work with my AR9 upper (the pistol I purchased for) but worked fine on a standard ar15 upper. All in all I would purchase again.

Good handguard but fails in one crucial way
While a fantastic handguard, as mentioned by the other reviews, I just have to bring this issue up. The QD sling mount on this rail eroded after a month of sling usage and a sling will no longer attach to it. Your sling is a very important part of your rifle and if that fails, then the handguard has failed to function. This seems to be the issue of having poor quality material for the handguard. Yes, you could get a sling mount, but the default sling mount position on a handguard is optimal. Would recommend this handguard if you're not using a sling.

Super smooth to hold!
The finish on these is incredible. No sharp edges anywhere. If I were to change one thing is I would lose the little flip up front sight. The only real down side to these handguards is their a little on the heavy side, but that hasn't stopped me from putting them on a couple different guns.
