Most Helpful Positive Review SI Threaded Comp for Glock/PSA Dagger
Very basic comp that looks great on my Glock and PSA Dagger. The price seems steep for what you are getting. My pistols run fine but the finish seems to be uneven and scratches easily. It will be used as an aggressive thread protector.
Most Helpful Negative Review Couldn't get to index correctly and not move during course of fire
If you need a thread protector, or okay with adjusting after courses of fire to realign then by all means. It didnt want to stay put and i don't know if there was any felt difference with this

Slick Little Comp

by Jimmie Hawkins, from TX, United States Written on July 4, 2025
I had the true precision micro before, but it made my CC look like a Star Wars blaster and dug into my hip. This one does the same job, doesn’t dig into the hip and makes a TOUCH of rise difference. Also looks pretty rad!

Lightweight and Effective!

by Deiter Von, Verified Owner from MI, United States Written on May 13, 2025
I run this comp on my PSA Dagger, and its lightweight design allows for seamless operation. Originally, I purchased a different product but that compensator caused failure to feed malfunctions 20% of the time due to its added weight to the barrel, affecting the operation of the slide. So I tried something smaller and lighter, and the Circle Comp by Strike Industries gave me the reliability I was looking for!

P365 compensator

by Rick F, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on April 25, 2025
I already had several Strike Industries P365 upgrades on my XL. The price for the compensator was too good to pass up. It does reduce the felt recoil with my regular carry round , Federal Hydra shok. I can't put a percentage of reduction, but it is noticeable.

Far exceeded my expectations

by BrotherJack, Verified Owner from ID, United States Written on October 23, 2024
This thing works WAY better than I expected. I expected it would be basically a thread protector, with barely noticeable (but noticeable) recoil reduction. Wow, this reduced a lot more than "barely noticeable" amounts of recoil on my 43X MOS. With the gun fully decked out (Streamlight TLR7sub, Holosun EPS, +5 magazine) and this comp, I was able to mag-dump 20 rounds as fast as I could run the trigger (and I can run a trigger pretty fast) into an approx 14 by 14 inch target (end of a stump) at 10 yards, and keep the dot on the target under recoil. Without this comp, the dot 100% rises above the target with every shot.

Also, for comparison, I shot this exact same gun with

a) A uncomp'ed barrel
b) an extended and ported (at the tip) barrel
c) A Micro Dagger C1 slide (the slide itself has ports in the end) (note: no red dot on this one)

This comp worked significantly better than the stock/uncomp'ed barrel. It worked very noticeably better than extended+ported barrel (which surprised me). And, I am shocked to say, this comp worked 100% as good as, and maybe even a bit better than the ported slide.

All that said, let me make some notes, for people who have unrealistic expectations.

There are 2 aspects of handgun recoil - how hard it comes back at you (ft lbs), and how hard the muzzle flips up (muzzle rise).
They are related (a lot of ft-lbs will make a lot of muzzle rise), but they are not the same. A full size comp will reduce both of those things. Micro comp...

Good budget comp

by OpticsBuyer, Verified Owner from KS, United States Written on September 2, 2024
This is a solid budget 9mm comp that does effectively reduce recoil. Easy on and easy off for cleaning. With a rubber washer it "times" well and stays in place effectively. The only slight issue I have with it is the end closest to the breach I wish they hadn't finished as sharp or would have rounded more. It's like they literally cut it off.

Awesome little comp

by Sam, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on August 18, 2024
The circle comp is awesome. Looks cool and performs awesome on my PSA Dagger. Definitely noticed reduced felt recoil by roughly 25%. Might not be as noticeable with smaller micro 9's as with a full size. I picked the circle comp over a larger square comp because the circle comp will fit in my existing holsters and will be easier to disassemble for cleaning. I also chose the strike industries micro comp over Griffin armament because the SI comp is timed so that it will have better function and not spray carbon and dust into my light.
Pros:
  • Function
Cons:
  • price
Best Used for:
  • full sized handguns

Great entry level comp

by Mike, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on August 4, 2024
Just swapped to a threaded barrel on my Canik Mete SFT and wanted a cheap and easy comp to start out with. Makes some difference while shooting and looks good.
