looks nice and functions like it should
Like adding a gold tooth to your gun. They are also very smooth. 600grit sand the tips of the detent before install and it is even smoother.

Pins work great making them easier to pull, especially helpful if you swap out uppers on a common lower.

Mainly for aesthetics
Most mil-spec standard pins work flawlessly. I order these to match the color scheme of my AR builds and they always add the right amount of minimal flair to give it that custom look.

TOTAL Q/A FAIL~!!!
I noticed right away after receiving these that something was amiss. The front pivot pin had to guide-slot for the retaing spring-pin.
I contacted Strike Industries to let them know that this was a terrible oversight on someone's watch!

I use these as standard pins
You have color options. You have quality build and lightweight. The sharp edges usually pair well with milk style rails. The gold are not as bronze gold as others. More like Asian gold. If they had a more bronze gold version I would say they are perfect. Recommend. ��

Adds a super crispy look to my AR
Dependability is the main concern for my AR15’s as well as the rest of my firearms, but once confidence in my guns have been achieved, then I like to add some eye candy. The current gun I am giving a facelift to is a aero precision 300blackout with 9” handguard builderset with geohex camouflage and adding gold accents. The gold takedown pins make it shine. Love the look.

Seem to be decent pins.ive ran strike industries parts in the past and never had a problem with any of them.my first package was lost while in transit or somethin...optics planet was quick to re ship everything from my missing order which was cool.shipping seems to be the only problem ive ever had with optics planet.and im not sure its there fault......

very good product
I’ve bought many Strike Industries take-down pins. Mostly red aluminum ones but I found that the chrome ones work better. You don’t need to oil them to work easily. Pushing them in or out is very easy they slide easily. Some people may not like that they’re shiny and reflective but since I only target shoot that doesn’t matter to me much. They’re very well made and made of high quality materials. I highly recommend them.
