Most Helpful Positive Review Strike Industries Glock 19 upk
Installed the Strike Industries glock 19 slide parts kit in a Faxon Patriot slide Zero issues. Everything fit as it should. Assembled pistol shot flawlessly. Good ejection and good primer strikes. Would definitely buy again for next build.
Most Helpful Negative Review Buy OEM recoil spring
The parts kit was easy to install into my Strike Industries lite slide. I did not use a channel liner tool, just a 5/16 threaded bolt and a few taps with a hammer. The recoil spring had to be assembled and didnt seem like it was a close match to the OEM recoil spring. Its a decent kit, but buy the $...

For 60 dollars ya get get what you pay for.

by John doe, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on October 9, 2025
Not really impressed with this set from SI. The guide rod and spring especially cheap or poor quality. What do you expect for only 60 dollars. I wouldn't buy it again or recommend it to anyone, however it does work we'll see for how long. Already replaced the guide rod and spring.

2 Kits No Issues

by Chungus Humungus, from CO, United States Written on July 23, 2025
I bought one of these kits as a replacement for a broken firing pin in a PSA dagger. Figured the issue would be reoccurring if i bought from PSA so i decided id give Strike Industries a chance. I pulled all the PSA bits and replaced them with the entire Strike Industries kit. They functioned properly so i bought another kit for another cheap slide from Live Free Armory and so far so good. Ive got about 500 rounds through both and no issues, but the round count is low so we'll see once ive put a few thousand through them.
Pros:
  • good fit and finish
  • installed without issues
  • functions properly so far
Cons:
  • None

Pass on it

by Nicholas G, Verified Owner from TN, United States Written on August 7, 2024
I got this to complete a G17 Zev Duty slide (I know, great slide, bad parts). Everything worked well except the extractor which was out of spec (would not fit). Fortunately, I have some extra Lone Wolf parts laying around, so I was able to complete my slide. That being said, I would recommend Lone Wolf over this kit. Why didn't I go with lone wolf to begin with? Mainly because I was curious which was better quality. LW wins in quality and precision fit. I will probably be buying a Zev kit in the future.

cheap parts kit

by Orlando Agostinho, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on May 13, 2024
Cover plate and all things doing with the extractor are poor. I left a review earlier saying that you should definitely buy another set. Strike industries is not the way to go. I did mention that the trigger was good, but I was confused. The trigger was from a different build for the lower. My apologies, but this kit for the slide is a.

low quality

by Orlando Agostinho, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on May 13, 2024
Cover plate and extractor are beyond poor. Straight up garbage. Justin installed it and already searching for a high-quality set. hate to say it, you need to pay more to get way better quality set . Will go on record that it is cheaper than Glock OEM parts.Trigger is the only decent quality part in this set.

The firing pin liner sleeve was broken. I ended up buying a brass one anyway, but sucks that it came with broken parts.

Buy Cheap or Buy Twice

by K. A., Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on January 15, 2024
After installing into Strike Industries's own G17 Liteslide, the extractor was way too tight and caused many FTE and FTF. Issues was resolved after swapping in an OEM extractor, but you'd think their own extractor would fit and work in their own slide...
After ~600 rounds of factory ammo, and occasional dry firing, the tip of the firing pin sheered off.
Save yourself some money and headache.
Pros:
  • Cheap
Cons:
  • Poor tolerances
Best Used for:
  • PAPER WEIGHT

Quality Internals Kit

by Chris, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 7, 2023
This kit dropped right in and fit well. Everything functions as expected, parts are nice and in good order, nothing jagged and nothing came broken or messed up. Little springs took a tad bit of fidgeting but other installed with no problem.

Not 100 percent reliable.

by Almost good, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on May 7, 2023
Took the liteslide finished with this kit on my Glock 19 to a class and a ccw licensing test. Fired around 200 rounds through this on the first class day. Had some issues with the slide not returning to battery and not feeding federal syntech 124 grain ball ammo. I field stripped the Glock 19, cleaned it thoroughly, lubed it up and prepped it for my CCW exam. On the day of the ccw exam I only had to fire 20 rounds through it. I had EIGHT failures to return to battery out of the 20 rounds. Madness. Reading through the comments, I realize the problem is likely the recoil spring assembly. will go back to the OEM one. I don't think I had many other issues otherwise?
Pros:
  • Inexpensive.
Cons:
  • Unreliable
