I need hands free in the woods, so I can use GPS and machete in each hand, (or push heavy brush out of the way). The shouldered rifle always would slide off, really annoying. This keeps the rifle high on the shoulder freeing your hands. Only thing I don't like about it is the price.
I am coming back to get another for my camera bag, to keep the camera on my shoulder.
