Strike Industries SARS
Great Concept. These are now being shipped with only 1 EXTRA LONG post. It is VERY long and gets in the way. Everything I read stated it came with 1 shot and 1 long post. Now I automatically receive the 1¼ inch post. Buyer beware
Great retention system, but needs a shorter qd stud!
It used to be shipped with a long and short QD stud; now it only comes with a long stud. This places the weapon further off my chest then I'd like. Strike Industries customer care said they are not currently playing to offer the short stud again.
Pros:
- No need to adjust sling length to secure the weapon close to your body for movement.
Cons:
- Long stud only
- May need a picatinny or mlok qd cup depending on preference (weapon balance and how low it hangs)
Would recommend: Yes

My first review was somewhat negative due to the fact that they changed the provided post from (1) short and (1) long to just one long post. I was worried about the length and the stress it would put on the QD socket considering how long it is. Please be aware these only ship with one post not 2. This is a non-issue. The post is just the right size and the retention is AMAZING. My only regret is not buying this system sooner. It really is great. Some of the reviews said the tensioner needed to be adjusted. This one is set perfect. No movement. Thanks Optics Planet!!
