Most Helpful Positive Review So far so good, but could be a little tall for some (used with ROMEO 5)
I bought this for the SIG ROMEO 5 for a lower 1/3 cw and the SIG factory tall mount it absolute. This riser with the ROMEO 5 is lower 1/3 without the extra spacer (i.e. only the spacer labeled "absolute" installed). With the lower 1/3 riser it almost completely obscured the irons. I bought so I could have a lower 1/3 on an sig red dot.
Affordable Lower 1/3 is harder to find now since the high mounts for NVGs became popular.

Its not a lower 1/3 cowitness like stated in the description...you can barely see the irons through the red dot but thats ok. And dont believe the folks that rate this pow saying its the mounting screws fault for stripping out...its user error...the screws are just fine

Strike Industries strikes again

I have purchased many Strike Industries products over the years: shotgun and Ar15 platforms accessories. I have always been very pleased with the high quality and performance of their products. The T1 riser mount is another success by Strike Industries, IMO. On my AR, I found that the riser with the bottom mount create a true 1/3 co-witness with my red dot and not an absolute cowitness (which is great for me as I find running an absolute cowitness can be visually distracting, even with both eyes open). If I place the included spacer on the mount, it moves the co-witness too high where I am unable to see the front iron sight post. I would certainly recommend this product.

Looking Good

I currently have the T1 Riser on my AR-style build and it's looking good. At first, reviews said there was play in between the mount and the riser and there was. I added a small strip of double-sided tape then it was gone. I was still able to zero and co-witness with my iron sights.

I have the T1 riser on my Less Lethal Air gun with matching rail covers with red dot and it looks fantastic. Sometimes looks can transform feel for your gun.

Good not great

The riser mount is well built but not true 1/3 cowitness. Barely see the dot. Also the FDE color is different in person than in the photograph. Looks more olive color in photo but more gold color in person. Otherwise a very stable mount.
