Most Helpful Positive Review Is Bronze not FDE
The pins are great easy to manipulate and grip onto. However they did commit some false advertising saying they are FDE when the color is bronze with how bright they are and it being more brown than sandy.

Honestly, I'm not sure what the advantage is for these pins versus traditional take down pins. Some of the take down pins have a longer head grip portion for easy removal, which these do not and remove very much like traditional steel pins. Two Builds In and Still a Very Nice Product

I have purchased the Pivot/Takedown Pins for two separate builds. Easy to install, FDE color looks really nice, and they function perfectly. I would highly recommend this product.

The dents end up scratching the color off when installing but as long as you arent constantly pulling them all the way out its no much of an issue.

Strike industry Takedown Pins

Purchased for my AR22LR build. Love the color (Blue)!

Very easy to install and works a lot better than other brands I've used. When I want to push them out to remove the upper, removes very easily. Wish they had come with the spring and detent kit. If you Purchase these make sure to order the kit.

Great construction but poorly sized

I got these for a Tippmann Arms M4-22. This plinking rifle takes almost all AR-15 parts, including the takedown and pivot pin. The pivot pin fits great and the unique shape is awesome. I like the construction of the takedown pin however the diameter of the pin is an infinitesimal amount too little. It is almost impossible to tell by the naked eye, but it's enough to cause the pin to slide right out if the rifle is tipped sideways. I was curious to see if it was the rifle or the pin so I tried the pin in my DDM4 V7 Pro and it's the same problem, it just slides right out if I tip it sideways. I'm not returning because I like the pivot pin, but this basically turned this purchase into an overpriced pivot pin.
