Works great
I have the realtree max 5 5 round magazine extension tube and this works great. I only use 2 3/4 in shells and have had no issues at all with the cycling. I was turned off at first by another reviewer stating it doesn't work with 2 3/4 in shells but my Stoeger p3500 cycles well with the mag tube extension. I bought it anyways as opticsplanet has a good return policy. Had I needed to send it back i would've just ordered a glass piece. I definitely recommend buying this extension. I love it. Still 5 stars but if I was asked anything to report negative I would say that the extension tube is...

Snow Goose Extension
I got this extension for conservation snow goose hunting. I went with the plus 4 over the 5 or 6 because it was a little cheaper, but mainly because it was lighter than both. It added plenty of shots, attached very easy, and looked great with the max 5 camo on my gun. The extension was a little more expensive than some of the other brands, but came with everything needed to use the extension. By the time you add the other necessary items not included with other brands, the cost was a wash. Great extension!!
Pros:
- Everything needed was included.
Cons:
- None that I found.

Works like a charm...
Easy install & full-complement (8+1) flawless functioning.
Just make sure to secure the *unloaded* shotgun so that the spring can't push it away from you when installing, and note that the nut for the barrel clamp is practically captive when installed due to the shape of the clamp, thus, it's best not to turn the nut to torque as it will likely bugger-up the clamp (most sockets will not engage it anyway due to the ears of the clamp holding the socket off).
Just do your torquing via the swivel stud (very minimal required if you line the clamp with friction tape as I did) and, if the stud hole doesn't end up in the preferred orientation when desired torque is reached, just back it off until you can "re-clock" the nut to different flats that give you the best combo of torque/stud orientation.

Pros:
- Red follower is a great visual indicator
Cons:
- Extension tube cap *may* be plastic?

Works and Fits Great
Install takes about 10 minutes and is straight forward. Check the edges of your factory tube for burrs and rough edges and sand/file as needed before installing so it has a nice clean smooth path for all shells past the tube. This was the factory tube, not this extension. The extension was clean and well built. Installed easily and you get a nice aluminum follower to replace the cheap factory plastic one. I have the long version of the Stoeger M3000 and the +6 hangs over the end of the barrel by about 1 inch or so which is perfectly fine and will not be struck at all even if it was hanging over even more. With the extension my shotgun now holds 11 + 1 for a total of 12 shells up from 5 previously. All shells feed out of the tube with no problems. Other tube kids for this shotgun at the same price require trimming the spring down, and do not include a nice new follower, so this is a great value. Very nice upgrade for the price!

Works great
Built very well, very easy to install. Works well with Magnum loads but not 2 3/4 dove/skeet loads (they do not have enough power to cycle an inertia driven gun with the added weight of an extended tube magazine)
Best Used for:
- Use with 3-3.5in loads
