Works great with Surefire RC suppressor
While its a little tight to get on compared to the regular 3 prong flash hider or muzzle brake (I know, shouldn't be, im sure its the same measurements), it was a tight fit. It doesn't have the "ting" noise the 3 prong gives off when firing, and doesn't make everyone on the firing line hate you if y...

cool flash hider, trash suppressor host
This is a good looking muzzle device. However, it is a trash suppressor host. I ran my surefire rc2 with this and it carbon locked every time. Its so bad I had to hit it with a heat gun everytime to take it off. Then I switched to surefire three prong and the problem went away. Avoid at all cost unl...

SureFire closed tine 1/2x28 556 flashhider/supp mount
Item arrived the week after ordering. Item mint and new in package, it has no handling marks, scuffs or scratches. Im always alert for some sellers selling these high end flashhiders that have been peg warmers for months and have been looked over, handled and even test fitted on barrels then put back in the package.. This does not appear to be any of those. I would recommend and personally would buy again. OP also added a 12% coupon making it the cheapest NIW SF closed tine Ive seen. Thank you OP ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Poorly Designed
Although I'm sure this product functions appropriately as a muzzle device, the wrench grooves required to install and torque the device are too narrow to accommodate either an armorers wrench or a standard drive crowfoot wrench. Three separate armorers wrenches are too wide to fit the groove - including Brownells armorer's wrench. I'm further annoyed this information isn't available on their website. For a $160 muzzle device, I expected better. Machining the part to accommodate a typical wrench makes sense, and I'm disappointed Surefire was unable to implement that. Their SFA2-556 muzzle device (now apparently discontinued) did not have this problem. If Surefire insists on these types of "innovations" (oversites), I recommend they either field test their equipment, ship all of their muzzle devices with an appropriately sized wrench head, or include a complementary grinder. I'm rating this product a 1 out of 5 because an average (3) muzzle device can be easily installed with any old armorers wrench and it is a solid regression from a previously existing product.
