Most Helpful Positive Review Surefire G2X Pro
Superior Surefire quality. Superb brightness and ease of use. The tailswitch is a little stiff but smooths out considerably after use. A superb compact flashlight. Pros: Quality, brightness, ergonomics Cons: Price
Most Helpful Negative Review Decent Little tac light
Good tac light for the price. Only concern about the light is the first setting is the low output then 2nd click is high, I wish it was reversed were the 1st click was high then 2nd was low. All in all good rugged tac light for the price.

A solid & dependable flashlight!

by J Houston, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 17, 2024
Great light and worth every penny. Surefire quality. Bought this as a gift for my son. He loves the simplicity of the controls. Other lights these days have way too many unnecessary functions.

Great light quality

Going to put it to the test. Great sale price on this as Surefire quality cost a bit more but I’m going to put it to the test. Fast shipping and so far as advertised plus less expensive on OP.

Surefire Handheld light

by Ed, from TX, United States Written on December 18, 2023
This light seems really well built. I liked the
idea of buying USA made. It is small & fits nice in the hand. I have fairly big hands.
I bought the yellow model & contrary to
the other reviewer, color did not stand out in the dark.
I will be using it for power outages, in truck & a SHTF scenario. Having both the 15 & 600 lumen option makes it more versatile. Highly recommend, although
took a while to receive. Must have been on backorder.
Pros:
  • Solid, well built
Cons:
  • none so far

Great little light!

by TheWiseSwampMoose, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on February 1, 2023
We live in a swamp and we have a lot of different creatures living here. Thanks to this flashlight, I can take my dogs out in the early hours of the morning and be able to see things before they see me. Well worth the investment. This flash light will make your old mag light look paperweight.
Pros:
  • durable
  • compact
  • High quality
  • very bright
Cons:
  • Cost of replacing batteries
Best Used for:
  • Everything for which a flashlight is needed

Great Flashlight for the money

by mike, from MI, United States Written on November 21, 2022
I have 3 of these G2 Units and just ordered another. I use them at Night when I’m Repoing and always have 2 of them in my Truck. The dual illumination is great. The low power is great for poking around, spotting addresses up close and inspecting Vins, the high power is perfect when you want people to know you are there, confronting debtors or spotting Vehicles and License plates off the road. Battery life isn’t the best, but they last about a month (I always keep a Battery Caddy on hand to change them out when I need to). Overall, they hold up extremely well, are easy to use and work without issue in the Heat and Negative Temperatures. Highly recommend.
Pros:
  • Price
  • Quality
  • easy to use
  • Construction
  • Range of illumination
Cons:
  • Not rechargeable
Best Used for:
  • everyday use
  • Police
  • Military
  • Vehicle
  • Emergency and quick need applications
  • Home defense

Great for Emergency

by Big Kev, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on September 6, 2022
I got the yellow to put in my truck in case I lose power and need to see. Stands out like a sore thumb in a dark setting, very bright, great for night time use if you break down on the road. Batteries last a long time, durable, grip feels good in hand.

Quality flashlight. Solid. Convenient pocket carry. Yellow to make it easy to see in your gear. Conventional batteries. Tail cap on off. Made in the USA. Small enough so that if you own 2, you should be never less than 50 percent battery capacity.
Pros:
  • Quality
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Pocket carry

Unsuspecting Weapon Light

by CHARLES GUNTHER, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on March 20, 2022
Super value with this Surefire light, has 1” body so it will fit all standard weapon light mounts. High quality polymer body with aluminum bezel. If you are fine with a push button end cap and not a pressure switch activation method, this is perfect for you. I mounted mine on an 7.62x39 AK and have had no issues with it holding up to the recoil. The only thing “negative” I can say is that the initial “click” on the light is a low power but this is actually useful indoors so you don’t blind yourself from the reflection off interior white walls.
