Minimalist design, highly adjustable output, SF headlamp!
While I have used flashlights more than headlamps, I have found since getting several from SF, Princeton Tec (PT) and Peztl I have come to appreciate the different design features each brand offers. Specifically with SF they're beam, output and construction has always impressed me. The Saint Mimimus really excels with its minimal profile, strong output (300 lumens max) and highly adjustable output. For the latter, you simply turn the dial to increase or decrease the amount of light.

Surefire Headlamp
Great light. Love the way it eliminates glare. Highly recommend. I use it at night on 20 acres. I feel secure in knowing that the Surefire will pick up any movement in the woods or open spaces. It already alerted me to a wild hog, which I shot quickly.

Great deal and with easy checkout
The surefire minimus headlamp with 300 max lumens and a low of 5 lumens allowing you to read in the dark is a great product. I purchased this as a gift and personally for emergency situations and it's great to have around just in case. For those who work with their hands repairing and building around the house, under the hood of a car or assisting stranded individuals on the freeway this headlamp does its job with minimal cost. It is durable and light weight.

- onstruction emergencies mechanics around the home where hands free illumination is needed

Very secure screw and simple control
the battery cap screw is well made and very secure and very simple control helps operate under stress with gloves.
Use only one 123A battery so you can share battery with other equipment easily.

SureFire Headlamp
I am a user of surefire flash lights using the 123A lithium batteries and so chose this headlamp because of the battery it uses and that it was an LED light source. My first LED head lamp and by far the best head lamp I have ever used.
