SureFire KM2-C head is a very robust economic solution if you have a SureFire M600 Ultra Scout Light
After purchasing night vision, I needed to have an ir laser/ir illuminator for my ar15. I initially purchased the surefire m600 ultra, but didn't had enough in my budget for an all in one vis laser/vis illuminator and ir laser/ir illuminator device. I wanted a robust Vis/IR laser unit so I purchased the holosun le221. The holosun le221 doesn't have an ir illuminator, but I did have a surefire m600 light. What should have been
By no means is this a purchase I enjoy having to make, particularly given the inherent limitations in power output when crossing the spectrum from visible light to IR. When investing nearly as much in the light head as in the flashlight body itself, my expectation is that everything arrives in flawless working order.
Upon receiving the M600 bezel assembly, I immediately noticed that the light module was shifted inside the housing. This is not typical of the quality control standards I have come to expect from SureFire, and it was equally surprising that this issue was not identified prior to shipment by OpticsPlanet before reaching the end user.
Given the cost and the niche application of this product, attention to detail should be non-negotiable. I am not even sure how many users are purchasing this specific configuration, but for those considering it, I hope this feedback helps inform your decision.

If you're like me and had a Scout Light but are now upgrading everything for IR purposes, this Bezel is a must. Most night vision Aiming Systems have horrible IR lights to accompany them, and this much needed assistance.
