Complete disapointment
Used the light for one day with the remote momentary switch attached. Light got stuck on after a couple of hours of shooting. This is a very good product. More than just cool looks... It lights up my whole 3 acre yard. The thumb screw requires a little extra torque to make a snug fit. The finish is extremely good as it should be for the price. Functions well.

Scout light
Still the king of weapon lights. I've had others that are ok, but this is still the best combination of tough, bright, and reliable. I like you can unscrew the mount and attach it to the side of a rail. This is absolutely one of those cases where a little extra to buy the right thing holds true.

Durable & Powerful
I installed this on my duty rifle which also has a VERY aggressive muzzle brake with 45 degree muzzle blast. This light gets smoked by that all the time and has held up like a champ with only minor scarring. I do advise having a cap on the end to minimize lense scarring and make cleanup easier. Other than that scarring, the light continues to have good focused beam and distance. Works well with TAPS sync switches.

Surefire M600 light
This is by far the best light on the market right now. The FDE is a little off but no big deal. I like the fact of how durable it is in the elements. The battery life is also a great long lasting battery

Scout M600U
I bought this light because I have had many other SUREFIRE products and have had good luck with all of them. I bought the M600 and had to buy the pressure switch separately and also a tail cap to put them all together. It was a lot of money but I feel that it was well worth it. I wish the tail cap would come with the pressure switch but it doesn’t. I trust the function of this light completely. I have it mounted at my compensator so it takes a lot of punishment and just keeps on going. Just to let you know I have had an issue with my pistol weapon light When the light quit working and surefire took care of the problem no questions asked. I am happy with surefire and their customer service. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a light that will stand the test of time.

I see the light!
This Surefire M600 light is awesome. Easy to mount and bright enough to illuminate my entire back yard. Seems pretty rugged, too. American made! Plenty of options available from Surefire and Optics Planet to customize this light to fit your rifle. If it’s good enough for military use, good enough for me. I just wish Surefire products weren’t so expensive.

The best from the best.
I purchased the M600 four years ago and it's been on one of my rifles since. I have put it thru multiple classes and countless range hours and it always performs as expected. The kind of product you can bet your life on. You truly get what you're paying for and Optics Planet helps ease the pain.

Best Light
There is no better gun light than this. Perfect size and power. Can't wait until I can get the remote switch for it! It will also be perfect for home or car use too. Get this light here for the best price.

This light is NOT 1000 Lumens!!!!
I have owned many Surefire torches in my life and I have always been super pleased with them. I am very pleased with the M600 Scout Light and am only slightly ever so sad that it wasn’t the 1,000 lumens as advertised here on OpticsPlanet. To me it’s no big deal as it will still be mounted on my rifle and used very frequently. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking at these lights to pick one up as you will not be disappointed.

Ridiculously Bright love this light
This light is insanely bright I thought the older surefire I have mounted on my AR was bright and it is pathetic compared to this. I mounted it on a new 870 Tac14 Brace and it was shining hundreds of feet out so way further than I could shoot with bucksot.
