I really wanted to love this but! - SureFire Scout Light Weapon Light/ATPIAL Laser Switch Assembly w/Picatinny Pressure Pad

I bought a Scout Light Weapon Light and I absolutely love it. I was asking myself :How can a weapon light possibly be worth that much when I have a ProTac weapon light that works well? Well, I found out! The 640 lumen Surefire Scout is so much better than the 1ooo lumen Streamlight ProTac in beam quality and just the way it pierces the night, it has to be seen to be believed. The quality of the SureFire Scout is 2nd to none as well, which is why I decided to spend over $200 for a tailcap/tapeswitch. After receiving my SureFire Scout Light Weapon Light/ATPIAL Laser Switch Assembly it appeared to be the same quality as the light but, appearance is where it stopped! The first one I Received would not activate the light at all, although the Pressure Pad did activate my PEQ-15. I did an RMA and Optics Planet sent another right out. The Second one worked somewhat but the tailcap had to be screwed on so tight I was worried I might damage the threads and even then only intermittently unless I bent the small plastic piece that the wires first go into on the Pressure Pad back and forth. This time I RMAed it back to SureFire at my own expense and I'm still waiting on one that works.

I will update this in accordance with what SureFire does but, unfortunately at this time one star is one star to many,
