Reviewing the surefire, laser switch assembly
Very reliable product you can count onto sure fire

Item is sturdy. Sits nice and tight on the picatiny rail. With my item, though, when you press the top switch, which activates my flashlight, you have to either press the very top or bottom of it, for the light to be at full power. When I press the little nub on the top switch, for some reason my flashlight light won’t be at full power and starts to flicker and dim. Bottom switch that activates my Dbal works perfect. No issues. Maybe this issue is just mine.

Surefire Dual Lead Tape Switch
This received 5 stars because it does exactly what it says it will do...That is, it's a momentary switch for a Surefire weapon light and a PEQ-15. One thing that I wish it would do is provide an alternate always on for either light. I realize the tailcap on the weapon light performs this function, but that involves additional manipulation of the firearm. That's just my own desire, and I do realize why that isn't something many others might need or desire. Activation of either switch is tactile and no issues with the PEQ-15 or Surefire light was encountered. Attachment to a picatinny rail was positive, with the tape switch snapping firmly into place. All in all, a great product at a very fair price. By the way, before I forget, this switch does indeed work with Holosun's line of lasers. I've read reports it does not. Those reports are false.

Kind of pricey but it works
It's a Surefire product: you get what you pay for, so it works flawlessly.
My only complaint is that it has 7 inch leads and I would prefer 9 inch leads, but that's personal preference.

Solid dual switch
I like that it mounts directly to the rail without additional hardware/zipties/bands. The buttons feel crisp and responsive to intentional activations. Overall a good solution, I wish it was a bit smaller - a la Unity

Exchange Fixed the Problem
My original switch was highly defective. It was exchanged and the replacement works as expected. The Tan color doesn’t match the Tan color of my Scout, but it’s close enough.

Hoping it’s a Fluke
I ordered this dual pressure pad for a Surefire scout paired with a holosun IR. The push button worked for the light but the pressure pad didn’t work at all. The pressure pad for the laser worked… but not as responsive as it should have been. It had some serious lag when illuminating and shutting off. It also was labeled as tan, and maybe could be considered tan. But it didn’t match my tan scout. I am in the return/exchange process right now. Considering Surefire’s reputation, I’m considering this to be a rare issue that will be resolved by a replacement.
