Most Helpful Positive Review A great addition to the Swampfox Sentinel!
This Ironsides RDS Cover is great and a must have for those who tend to be more of the "bull in a china shop" type of folks like me. I seem to dent and scratch almost everything I own. This cover is ideal in that it maintains a tight low profile on the sight but is a rock solid guardian of something I might otherwise damage. A "guardian for my sentinel," if you will. A great buy that I highly recommend.

Purchased this to protect the Sentinel 2. However the Ironside blocks adjustment buttons on the side of the Sentinel 2, also the Sentinel 2 seems hardy enough that this is not needed and takes away from the aesthetic that Swampfox has designed - made the it look cheap.
Pros:
  • Extra protection if you are rough on guns or clumsy and tend to drop your guns.
Cons:
  • Cheap looking
  • Blocks access for optic brightness adjustments located on both sides of the optic.
  • Potential issues with mounting screw lengths, and adds height/gals to the optic mount

Fit. Doesn't fit....... Bad

First, it's too tight and doesn't fit over the red dot. Even if you spread it open enough it will still scratch the dot.... So I am not using it. Bad Bad Bad.

Looks sweet on the gun, ordered in addition with the Ironsides shield but the screws included with the sight were not long enough to work with my slide/sight combination. Looking to resolve this but excited about the sight
