The good: build quality is solid. Decent mount with 2 mount height options. Takes common 2032 batteries. The bad: very noticeable refresh rate, that can be distracting. In order to be daylight bright, you need to crank this thing up to max brightness, draining your battery. No shake awake, only 3000 hr battery hour advertised life, as opposed to the Romeo 5s, I believe, 10k hr advertised life. Also there’s a huge emitter blocking a bunch of your sight picture. I can’t recommend this sight at all when comparing it to the ultimate budget optic, the sig Romeo 5, which is only like 10-20 bucks more and has a better emitter, no refresh rate you can notice, better battery life, no giant emitter blocking your view and so on.

Got mine today and put it on a Unity FAST Micro mount. It would turn off every shot and after the third shot would not turn back on. That being said, it looked good, glass was clear, crisp reticle and is a great price, I think I just got a dud.

I'm absolutely thrilled with the Swampfox Liberator! This little gem has exceeded all my expectations. The affordability is a game-changer without compromising quality. Its durability is commendable - it has withstood some rugged outings. What truly amazed me is how it effortlessly holds zero on my Mossberg 590, providing consistent accuracy. Whether it's fast target acquisition or precision shooting, this red dot sight delivers every time. Kudos to Swampfox for creating a product that's a perfect blend of performance and value. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an exceptional red dot sight without breaking the bank!

I cannot say enough nice things about this budget option. I have this on an MP5 clone and ran it over the weekend in some drills outside with an incredibly easy pickup on target. The green illumination is bright and adjustable to many levels, and the dot seems sturdy and held zero with some drops/movement.

Mounted this onto my KelTec Sub2000 and I love it. I switched from a red dot to this bright green circle dot (or as I saw a blogger call it, the donut of death), and having this makes for super-quick and accurate target acquisition for my old eyes. I took it out to the range this past weekend and had no problems moving from target to target to target and accurately hitting at 25 yards.
Pros:
- Easy to see
- Super Bright
- Fast acquisition
- easy to zero in

Works great for the .22lr I got for my daughter. Looks nice. Feels like it’s built much better than the cheap sight that came with the gun. Dot seems clean has held zero after 300 or so rounds. Tho handling .22Lr recoil isn’t saying much.

Listen, this sight isn't cutting edge tech and doesn't cater to everyone's eyesight ( not that any sight really does ). But for the price I'm blown away at the quality. I've used eotech and trijicon on a lot of past builds but I was doing a budget build for fun and came across this sight. The build quality is sturdy and honestly, at least for my eyesight, I've had no issue in any lighting conditions. It just works. Is it the best sight out there? No. But I don't think it's very fair or reasonable at all to compare it to a 400$ - 1000$ sight. For it's price it is phenomenal. It does work, it holds zero and I've had zero issues in any sense. I can't in good conscience give it a con because at this price point it exceeds every expectation that I had for a cheaper sight. Far exceeds it, even. I've had nothing but bad experiences in the past on cheaper sights and this is the first one that I'm not only satisfied with, I'm impressed. Highly recommend for people that want a great sight for a very reasonable price.

This is a great holographic sight for the price. It has very decent glass clarit, and is much less expensive that other circle/dot options that I researched. It does have some ghosting or blurring of the reflected aiming image, and the image projector impinges slightly into the field of view on the left side of the scope window. But for the price point, I probably shouldn't have expected perfection.
Cons:
- Blurry sight image, projector sticks out into sight window.
Best Used for:
- Close range, fast acquisition
