Most Helpful Positive Review Be aware BFO is not daylight lit
This purchase was my 8th swampfox optic. I've always been amazed at the quality for price you get with swampfox especially with a rock solid warranty. That being said I was excited to finally see a fiber optic reticle hit the lvpo market. Marketing really pushed this innovation as did paid reviewers that got thier hands on this optic early. When I received the optic was was somewhat disappointed. One would assume (and marketing pushed the idea) that it was daylight powered with using battery at lowlight and darker. Nice but I still returned it...

Like the features and the price point. Wasn't super impressed with the eyebox. It felt tight to me - I have a Steiner 1-4 which I know is twice as much and while the FOV is less on that scope the eyebox feels better. Wanted it to work and it just wasn't for me. Your mileage may vary.

Super pleased with all my swamp fox products, bright clear glass, brightest red dot during the day I’ve seen, easy to zero and holds a zero, turns anyone into a marksman

Best Value LPVO

For $300 this is probably the best LPVO you can get right now. I first ordered a Vortex Strike Eagle due to the good reviews and did not like it at all. There was so much fish bowl effect, I got motion sick just looking through it. The Tomahawk II is a true 1x and has very minimal distortion. There is always going to be some due to the amount of glass you are looking through but this can be used as a red dot replacement. The fiber dot is very bright! The overall construction is solid and the thing just looks good as well. Highly recommend!
