This block slides easily into my IWI lower, fits snugly, and locks in place firmly with my mil-spec magazine catch. I may not even need to use the retaining screw. It comes with it's own Allen wrench, so you have something to store in your pistol grip. No alterations to anything were required. All of my SGM Tactical and Pmags slide into it easily, lock up tightly, and fall out freely when released. I couldn't be happier with this 9mm Conversion Block, and I recommend it with no reservations.
Pros:
  • Easy to install
  • Allows use of common pistol magazines
Cons:
  • May Require "Fitting" Beyond the Abillity of Some Users
  • Retention screw is small and might be lost easily.
  • Does not have Last Round Bolt Hold Open
Best Used for:
  • Range use, plinking
