looks geat on my stainless barrel
The stainless matched perfectly with my stainless barrel. Went on very smooth. As for the design, it is just the basic bird cage found on any m4/m16 today. But it looks great and not an eyesore like the standard flat black models.

This should not be called a muzzle brake when it is a flash hider and is not legal in my state. I brought this to my local firearms store where I have
a new 308 sporting rifle to be picked up. Before they pinned the muzzle brake that came with it, I wanted to change it out. The gunsmith
said that it was a flash hider and could not install it for me. I check several websites as well and they all refer to this bird cage muzzle brake as
a flash hider. It is well priced and of good design, but for me at least it cannot be used in New Jersey.

Respect thy neighbor
If you shoot mostly at an indoor range like I do, it is only considerate to use a muzzle brake the does not send all of your muzzle noise and gas to the folks shooting in the ports next to you. This Tacfire muzzle brake does the trick, while still reducing recoil impact and muzzle rise.
