It is a buffer - Tacfire Recoil Buffer

This is like comparing Cadillac and Chevrolet. Both are cars and both do the same thing. One just cost more than the other. Just as with this buffer. It is not the most expensive nor does it have to be. The only question should be does it do it's job and the answer is yes. Spend $50 bucks or more on a buffer so you can tell everyone you have a name brand buffer and it is made out of a special alloy. I will save my money thank you and my gun will function just as good as yours and for a lot less. The M-16 has worked fine since 1964 without a lot of fancy bells and whistles. So if you want to impress your friends, spend all your money on a fancy buffer that no one ever sees. If you just want your gun to function then save your money because you can not go wrong with this buffer.
