Most Helpful Positive Review Easy install
Came assembled and ready to drop in. Didn’t have to try and get the small spring locked into place. Installed less then 30 seconds and works great. Trigger pull feels good and fit is perfect on the p80 frame.
Most Helpful Negative Review Waste of money
Purchased this parts kit for a p80 build. First the slide retention spring does not fit correctly it's sticks up out of the slot that it belongs in after it's been installed which will later cause a problem with the recoil spring. The rear trigger mechanism ejector housing sits up too high and will ...

Just spongy junk

by jeff357, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on September 28, 2025
Bought this during the panic for a Poly 80 build. Just got around to finishing yesterday. What absolute JUNK. Spongy trigger & only works with 1 of 2 slides I tried on it. The one would not move after assembly. To bad I waited so long & no refund possible. Run
Pros:

Cons:
  • Bad trigger pull

i should have paid attention

by joey, Verified Owner from VA, United States Written on July 30, 2024
Didn't notice it came with 2 slide retention springs for diff models. I was wracking my brain, trying to figure out why i had an extra part lol. Otherwise good quality pins, everything works perfectly in a geisler 19x build. I think the reviewer who had issues witb his slid retention spring may have used the wrong one. Most of what he described sounds like build or fitment issues. I had no teouble with the install, took all of 10 min and once i lubed it up it runs great. The trigger isnt awesome, but when you press it a bullet comes out, so alls well that ends well. Definitely recommend for this application.

Don't waste your money

by James G, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on September 13, 2023
Bought it for a P80 build, the design of the trigger wouldn't let the slide fully function. Couldn't get the slide to move forward for take down, so I put the trigger in my G17, same results. Ran the trigger without the slide and it was beyond clunky and the assembly being chromed or whatever they dipped it in didn't allow it to move without hitting the frame.

Mushy and does not work well with SCT frame

by flyingblind, Verified Owner from CO, United States Written on July 22, 2023
I tried two of these just in case the first was bad but both have the same problem with the SCT Glock 19 frame. I paired the frame with a PSA Dagger slide. First off the trigger is really mushy and does not have a clean break. Second, on cycling, the sear does not come up high enough for it to catch and reset the trigger. On my second order I also ordered a Cross Armory Standard trigger and that one worked perfectly off the bat.

Literally does not function

by Cam, Verified Owner from MT, United States Written on April 29, 2023
Spend the extra 10 or 20 dollars and get yourself an OEM trigger. The first thing that should have rung alarm bells in my head was when the rear portion of the trigger needed to be pressed in with significant force in order to seat it. The gun would not run as the trigger was very heavy, requiring the power of 1000 suns to actuate it. Getting a trigger reset is like winning the lottery, and caused many issues in even putting or taking off the slide, inserting or removing pins, or every other basic function. Extraction of the spent casing has worse odds than you getting a girlfriend. The trigger bar will rub heavily on pmags, but I'm not entirely sure if it will do so on OEM mags. Overall this has the manufacturing tolerances of an asylum admittee's scrawling of sacred geometry.

You will not be able to bend any parts or tune your firearm to make it work. Do not buy this, you cannot fix her.
Pros:
  • It might be sold to a bad guy
Cons:
  • It was sold to you
Best Used for:
  • Melting down for a half cent worth of scrap

Worked, sort of.

by jcjhorn, from TX, United States Written on March 22, 2023
The trigger housing, trigger bar and trigger did not work. Dropped in original glock receiver. The slide would not fit. Then the trigger would not reset and the pull was 14 lbs. Replaced with original glock trigger group and ran fine. I guess the pins and take down lever worked so not a total loss.

terrible trigger.

by Az hunter, Verified Owner from AZ, United States Written on March 8, 2023
This is honestly the worse, most gritty 10 lb trigger i have ever used in my life. Its aweful on about every level. Honestly optics planet should remove this product and send it back to the manufacturer. Its truly that bad.

Cons:
  • horribly made product

Just spend the extra money and buy oem glock parts

by Scotty Allen, Verified Owner from OR, United States Written on December 23, 2022
My p80 build will not function with this parts kit. I picked up a Oem glock lpk and it runs flawlessly. stay away and don’t buy sub par parts or you’ll end up buying it twice. I would return it but i filed down the ridiculous mag release that stick out way too far from the frame.
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Paper weight
Best Used for:
  • the garbage

Amazing trigger setup

by Big G, from FL, United States Written on December 16, 2022
Great price! Fast shipping and high quality product. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Installation was easy, and works amazing. Very smooth trigger and action, first time ordering and will be ordering for my next build. If you were looking for a good trigger system for your Glock, then I’ll definitely hire we recommend this tacfire Glock trigger group. This is the third product I have ordered from optics planet and nothing but quality.

Trigger kit

by Dee, from VA, United States Written on July 19, 2022
Pretty good kit. Worked as it should. Good replacement for factory glock or 80% build. If you are looking for a whole kit or just part of a replacement part. This is the way to go. This will fit gen 3 glocks. Perfectly
