Works great
This scope mount fits the GSG 5 perfectly. Just remove the screws and feet from the one side before snapping it onto the gun. Be sure to put it on so the groove fits over the part of the upper barrel cover so it goes on properly. Don't over tighten the screws and it should provide a stable base for your scope or red dot sight.
It won't fit without modifying
I was told that it would fit an HK/Umarex MP5. It didn't. It had to be machined in order for it to work. The retailer needs to be aware of this in order to pass on correct product information to the customer.

A valuable add on.
I purchased this to use on a tripod mount. By clamping this device, I can mount a large rifle scope to my tripod and use it as a spoting scope. Seems like a good way to use a high end rifle scope with zoom and get much wider fields of view for spotting game. Works for me just fine.
