One Awesome Carbon Fiber stock , every bit as good as a Lancer!
Easy Install! Just need to have a mil spec barrel nut and this thing just slides right over and gets locked down with bolts and screws.
I weighed the 15" with all the hardware and nut and it came to 9oz. Excellent!
And it is tough, n...

Tackstar Carbon Fiber 15'' handguard review
The Tackstar Carbon Fiber 15'' handguard review.
1)The gas block on BSF 6.5 grendel hit the handguard!!!
2) The front rail mount stripped and doesn't have enough tread depth to last.
3) Only uses the standard barrel nut. No other will work!
What I did to make it work was flip the gua...

No Barrel Nut with the TacSTar - But still a Win
The TacStar Carbon Fiber Mid-Length Handguard is an excellent choice, offering serious weight savings without compromising feel or rigidity. The carbon fiber texture is fantastic—it has a solid, premium grip and stays remarkably cool, even during extended range sessions. Installation was straightforward, and it really modernized the look of my rifle. I’m docking one star because, surprisingly, a barrel nut was not included in the package, which meant an extra step to source one before installation. Also, the M-LOK slots felt a little tighter than usual on one side, requiring a bit more force to seat accessories initially. However, once installed, everything is rock-solid. For the price and the significant weight reduction you get, this handguard is a clear winner and a great upgrade.
Pros:
- Fit & finish, looks great
Cons:
- No barrel nut for price point

TacStar Carbon Fiber Handguard
Bang for the buck. This handguard is a great deal. Nice that it uses a standard barrel nut. You can even use a titanium one if wanted. The carbon fiber is thicker than the other 2 brands I own. One starts with an F and one with a B. The F branded one is nice, but the Tacstar is a better deal. Solid lock-up very rigid. 12" hand gaurd and milspec barrel nut was 9 oz on my postal scale.

Nice Handguard
Very nice hand guard at a reasonable price. Sturdy and locks down nicely and fees goon in hand. Do not over torque the torques head screws.

light/fast. needs work.
Barrel nut attachement is solid. Its light its fast. Mlok slots are not even or uniform. Front sight rail is not in spec at all. Called to ask why and i was told "thats the design" Its usable. Strong for sure. Just sloppy mlok spots cant attach a front sight. I own two of them. Its available for a lot less than 200 elsewhere.

TacStar Carbon Fiber AR-15 Handguard (10") – A Serious Win
If you’re in the market for a lightweight, rock-solid handguard that doesn’t break the bank, the TacStar Carbon Fiber AR-15 Handguard (10") is a no-brainer. This thing is insanely light but still tough as nails. The carbon fiber cuts and edges are flawless, with a clean pattern and perfect grain—no rough spots, no uneven surfaces. Thin, rigid, and built for business.
The barrel nut adapter is a major highlight—easy to work with and swappable without pulling the barrel, which is a huge plus. The overall fit and finish scream quality, and at this price point, it absolutely holds its own against the high-dollar options out there.
Honestly, I like this one so much that I’m already hunting down the 15-inch version. If you’re looking for top-tier performance without the premium price tag, this is a huge win. Highly recommend.

better than my Coda ngl
This handguard is thicker than my Coda and flexes less. I think it has more CF layers to it. Also comes with a front sight picatinny rail that a coda doesn't.
This gives you the option to use a titanium barrel nut which is pretty cool.
My upper had a stuck delta ring nut so I just dremeled off the delta ring and this went together afterwards.
Very happy with this

Tac-star 15” handguard
This was my first AR build, and I was kind of unsure when buying parts and what I needed to get, this is a great handguard good thickness and well made, only thing I don’t know if the barrel nut is included, but it didn’t come in mine, being that most other hand guards it is included, but overall great handguard and looks awesome
