High quality mounts
Talley lightweight mounts are great this is the third rifle I put these mounts on and they are all great and lightweight and the fit and finish is perfect every time. These are on my Remington 700, 30-06. I have also used them on my Benelli R1 30-06 and a custom Montana rifle 30-06 and all fit and work perfect
1-Piece Talley Rings
On two of my Remington 700s, the base & ring sets appeared to have put the first shots on paper at 50 yards. Not bad for abbreviating sighting in. Mounting a Leupold VX-3i 2.5-8X36mm had no issues. Mounting a Leupold VX-3HD 2.5-8X36 CDS-ZL required removing some base metal in the area above the rearmost mounting screw in order to clear the larger power adjusting ring of that scope. Why Leupold made that ring so much larger is anybody's guess.

Quality Product
I ordered the wrong set of rings for my model 700. (Didn't know there were two different size screws used by Remington to attach bases), Called Talley direct when the bases didn't fit. The first person I talked to at Talley was able to tell me the set of rings I should have ordered. Sent the rings back to OP and they quickly sent me the proper rings. This is the second set of Talley rings I have used on my rifles. They are a great quality piece of equipment and very easy to install. I have now fired several hundred rounds through the rifles I have these mounts on with no movement of the scope at all. They are the only scope mounts I will use.

Love the convenience of these rings. They are easy to install and quality is second to none. I have ordered many pairs for my rifles and have no complaints. Talley one piece are now my first option when installing a scope.

These mounts are on all my rifles and they work good, the threads on the bolts have never stripped and they never get loose. I tighten my bolts down good and I believe they use torx wrenches which also do not strip as easy as hex wrenches.

Mounted Nikon on Remington perfectly
I used these to mount a Nikon Prostaff 3x9x40 on a Remington 700 ADL and it all fit perfectly. Plenty of room for objective lens over barrel and enough room between mounts front to back to slide scope where I wanted. I have not fired the gun so I cannot speak to longevity but the mounts seem to be of great quality and I really like the one-piece design.

Simple yet solid design
These rings are all you need. Make sure to mount them square and they work great. Hold scope well and no problems with shifting. I have used these on a Remington 700, and weatherly vanguard with excellent results. Will buy again when I need to scope another rifle.

Tally rings and bases for Remington 700 short action

Beautiful fit and easy installation
Just finished installing these on my late 70's 700 BDL in 30-06 for a Leupold VX-2 3-9x40 mm scope.
The finished product shows a good 1/8" gap that might allow for use of the Tally extra lows.
All in all a good value on a great product.

Perfect fit and looks great.
Mounts are rugged and sturdy.They seem to be a lot better than a base and ring set up. No misalignment problems and plenty of room for a 40mm obj with the low mounts.Would recommend to anyone wanting a light weight dependable mount.

I bought these to mount my 3-9 Trijicon on my Rem 700. The height is perfect and the rings are very sturdy. quality appears excellent and they were exactly what I was looking for.
