Most Helpful Negative Review mild steel nuts
Partially stripped two of the torx nuts making this unusable on install. cannot recommend these. Have installed many scope rings since the 60’s, these are not good. Avoid buying if possible. Optics planet requested this review

These rings look so much better in person. They're beefy and have a very smooth design. It's nice that they're available in all common sizes and they have a Bubble Level top sold separately! Overall, very slick, simple and great quality rings. Highly recommended!

Seems like a decent set of rings but can’t use because missing screws. That’s what I get for purchasing a demo set ! First time buying a demo set and last time.

Talley Rings are a great product & would have given 5 stars but the rings had some discoloration on the lower half of both rings. Looks to me that the product should have been a factory second (blem) item? I needed them & just a cosmetic thing that isn’t that noticeable or I would have exchanged them. Integrity of the product was not compromised!

Lightweight Quality Built Rings

Rings were easy to mount and level scope; no issues torquing to spec (Talley website lists torque specs). Finish/machining of the rings was flawless. Medium rings provided perfect low mount clearance with a 50mm objective (~1/8 gap over barrel; allows use of scope cover/caps still) for a bolt action w/ carbon barrel. Talley does not recommend thread locker…will see with use if bolts loosen, but followed their instructions to start with for now. Quick shipping and great price through OpticsPlanet.
