A GREAT upgrade or new build item
I was rather frustrated while installing an extended magazine release and auto bolt release in my 10/22 trigger pack. I found myself tilting the pack at odd angles for a better internal view as I lined up the pin and holes. This in turn made the OEM Ruger pins slide out of either receiver side many times. Enough to irritate me, actually.
These live in an old aluminum ruger 10/22 trigger pack that's mounted on a Fletcher Rifle Works 11/22 receiver with no issues. The pins are snug but still easily tapped in. When fully seated in the trigger pack there is zero slop or side to side movement. Overall, these are a fantastic upgrade for the money.
I snagged an extra pair to try out in my Volquartsen TG2000 trigger pack (not officially supported by TK). Mainly because what's another ten bucks after dumping nine hundred dollars worth of upgrades into a three hundred dollar rifle?

Doesn't fall out like factory pin
The magazine pin on both my Ruger 10/22 triggers (standard and BX) fell out every time the barreled action was removed from the stock. The slipping pin made installation of the barreled action into the stock unnecessary difficult. Apparently I'm not the only one with this issue because I've seen a couple U-tubes advising being very careful to avoid loosing the pin. The indent ball in these pins totally resolved the issue while still remaining easy to remove when necessary.
Pros:
- works
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- preventing pin loss
