Most Helpful Positive Review Great Trigger Shoe
This is a great trigger shoe and I use it on all three of my Glocks! It is pretty simple to install and does not defeat any of the guns safeties. It is not overly gaudy either. It is absolutely worth every penny!

A very appreciable increase in performance.

So first off, what people don't tell you is that if your replacing the stock trigger shoe on a Glock you have to beat the breaks off the stock trigger till you either A:break it or B:violently punch the pin out the other side of the shoe. So if you were to get this, I'd recommend ordering an OEM trigger bar with this unless you have a set of punches and a lot of pent up anger. But once you get the OEM shoe off it's as simple as putting this on the trigger bar and gently tapping the pin into place. Probably why they say "get a Glock certified armorer to install it" But Bubba can't read and could probably do it better anyways.

Performance: At first, function testing it and dry firing it at home barely felt any different than a stock trigger other than my finger actually feeling comfortable when I press on it as opposed the the abhorrently bad OEM shoe. Was kinda disappointed at first but then after taking it too the range and breaking it in with 200 rounds it felt SOOOOO much better. It is as advertised, you get more leverage and the perceived pull weight feels so much better. There's almost no much when you depress the trigger and it's just "smooth" all the way, and the reset feels nice and tactile. As far as I can tell as well, the pins didn't walk out and ran 99% reliable other than me limpwristing and causing a minor failure to feed. "Not the gun or trigger this was 100% user error!"

TLDR:A very good way to improve the feel on your 43x with out compromising the functional...

makes a difference

by TC, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on May 20, 2025
This trigger shoe replaced a hinged trigger and its a huge difference. It reduces alot of down pull so its easier to to hit the target( with good trigger mechanics).
And help to have a straight back pool because of tree is not curved I would recommend this trigger to anyone who has an old style hinge or looking to upgrade to a flat trigger with purchase again if needed.

The cheapest trigger shoe upgarde solution!

by Latino Redneck Ninja, Verified Owner from NC, United States Written on September 25, 2024
I personally do not like the OEM Glock triggers and prefer a flat trigger, this are the cheapest solution out there and are very, very easy to replaced. I have replace G43x and 48 triggers with this one and my latest modification to my PSA Micro Dagger, it improves and shorten the pre travel and it makes it a much smoother trigger pull.
Pros:
  • Price and install ease
Cons:
  • nothing
Best Used for:
  • any

Huge improvement

by Chewy, from GA, United States Written on January 24, 2023
I've had many Glocks but never really cared for them as a 1911 and 3rd gen S&W guy. Yeah I'm old. It wasn't until I bought a 43x that I realized that I had something that grew on me quick. I shoot a pistol and decide what I want to do to make it fit my comfort. Before long I found myself changing things to my liking. Having already swapped the mag catch with a Tango Down Vickers and the Vickers slide release I wanted to address the trigger shoe. I wanted something to compliment the Ghost edge connector so to keep it uniformed I opted for this trigger shoe. You can search the net and there are mixed reviews on this one. As a 1911 guy Larry Vickers is held in the highest regards among the shooting community but I also understand marketing. From research I understand that there have been revisions of this shoe since its release. I don't know details but whatever it was they nailed it. You will read about how the two pin design is not real good but when installing this shoe I noticed one end of the pin is nurled to bite in to the plastic when driven in so it's not just a pin. The safety on the shoe better known as the "dingus" takes much less effort to disengage than the factory and you don't feel like you're pulling back on the blade of an ice skate. I know there are a frustrating amount of choices out there for Glock parts and everyone has a different personal preference. This shoe is not the end all be all but nothing is. It's well designed and I trust Tango Down whether it has...

Simple yet significant improvement. OEM like appearance and feel.

by Johnny Utah, Verified Owner from CA, United States Written on August 28, 2022
Having bought and tried almost every single TangoDown/Vickers Tactical accessory for the Glock I was interested to try for two main reasons. The first was my preference to flat face triggers. I have medium-sized hands and due to the Glock's frame/grip angle a flat trigger allows more purchase and control on the trigger.

The second is reason is I also prefer not to mix metal with polymer especially when it comes to the trigger. This drop-in trigger retains the OEM pull weight while also using what appears to be the same material as the OEM trigger. Installation was easy and the trigger works and feels great.

Cure for the Awful Glock Trigger Shoe !

by Bruce, from MT, United States Written on April 6, 2022
Ok, here it is. I stayed AWAY from Glocks cause I never liked their trigger. It wasn't ergonomic and the blade was AWFUL. Enter the TANGO DOWN Vickers trigger shoe. Wow-Wow-WOW ! What a transformation. Flat faced. clean, blade in the right position and MUCH MORE upright. Less travel and better reset. Easier to shoot. Get it and never look back. Period ! Now to make it significantly ever More gooder ?? Double Diamond's 3.5 trigger bar connector. From the Glock Store (crappy wait times to get but worth it) My 19x went from 6&3/4 t0 4 lbs even and MUCH smoother. My 19 went down 2 lbs on pull. You won't believe what these two cheap items do to your Glock. The Vickers is mandatory. (On the 43x it's a revelation)
Pros:
  • everything about it works top notch
Cons:
  • Easy to install but look it up 1st
Best Used for:
  • all shooting
