Fits the C39 V2 after some work
I purchased this for my Century Arms C39 V2. I had contacted Tapco to make sure it would work. It does fit, but required a lot of sanding, and some light Dremel work. The wood seems decent, but the sling swivel on the stock is pretty chintzy. I'd rather it didn't come with the stock swivel. Its a decent upgrade, and I deducted 1 star for the fit, and swivel. a

Century Arms VSAK
This is one good looking AK set.
I was in the market for a wood finish because I purchased the synthetic black plastic VSAK. Once I saw this I knew I needed it.
It was sold out everywhere. Found one at a gun show but was way overpriced. So I decided to wait it out. It took 5 months to acquire but it was worth the wait.
I received it with a few blemishes ( some wood chips, plastic was rubbing the wood but I just polished it a bit)
Installation was pretty easy as well. Only problem was with the lower hand guard. I had to file it down a bit.

Glad I bought it!
Installed this on my pre ban norinco mak90. There was some little modifications that was needed but the fit was perfect after about 30mins of fitting it. Finish looks good on the ak. Price was perfect and I think I got the last one in stock. The kit came complete. Even has the drill bit to pre dril the holes for the screws for the stock.

TimberSmith Premium Red Laminate Romanian AK-47 Stock Set
You may need to do some fitting. From the factory they should put the individual pieces in plastic wrap, the hard plastic can leave marks, easy to prevent. Good deep color. I wish the back of the stock would have also taken the original metal back plate for originality. Be careful fitting the top handguard around the gastube. sand, Dremel, very carefully so as not to crack it or take off to much, then its to loose. You don't want it rocking side to side. Be Patient, when trying to twist it on. The stock, also may have to have some shim stock, bottom side, cut some tin, aluminum to fit snug. Hold stock tight against receiver, then drill first hole. Wrap some towels around installed parts to prevent scratches, dents while installing

TimberSmith Premium Red Laminate
This stock set was purchased as a gift. The finish on this stock is very good and the color is amazing (for those that like a deep red color). It has a nice satin sheen which is what the recipient of the gift wanted. If you like a deep red satin finish then this is for you. The quality of the wood is outstanding. No dings, dents or defects that I can see. Overall I am very pleased with the quality fit and finish of this stock set and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great replacement stock set.

AKM 47 FURNITURE

timber smith red laminate stock
This stock set is what I was hoping it would be..looks good..easy to install got compliments on it at the range .I put it on a wasr 10 and I makes it look like a high end akm.i did have to drill pilot holes in the butt stock..that was easy..and added a little bit of blue locktite to the pistol grip bolt and I am all set.

Fits a NHM91
Very pleased with the quality and fit of this stock set. As stated with other guns the lower grip needed minor fitting but a dremel sanding disk on the inside made easy work of that. Someone said the wood was soft but mine was extremely hard. Definitely have to pre drill to get the wood screws in. Not only do I recommend the stock I'm ordering another one for a MAK90.

Looks good but make sure it fits
Well made. A little pricey but it's a lot nicer than dinged up conflict parts. Mine didn't fit the rifle I planned on putting it on but that's not something I hold against it. The rubber butt stock is a nice addition to help your shoulder out.

Timbersmith red furniture on RAS47
This furniture is designed for romanian ak variants. Slight modification will be needed to make it fit an RAS47. The stock will need pilot holes drilled for the stock screws because it does not have pre drilled holes. Some drimel work will be required on the forend grips as well especially the bottom. The fit is very tight and has minor differnces. Again romanian vs american ak so that should be expected. Finish is spectacular and looks amazing in the sun. It is also very nice to have the extra length over the factory stock due to the rubber butt pad. This completely changed the look and feel of my RAS. Thank you optics planet for the free shipping!
