Great Gun Mat

If you're on the fence about spending less on a gun mat out of fear it may be too cheap, don't worry. This is a great gun mat. It's non-slip backing doesn't move unless you make it move. It's design accurately reflects the 100% breakdown of the AR-15 rifle. It's easy to clean. It has padding for soft surface to work on. Oils and solvents don't destroy the printed surface. All in all, this is a great gun pad at any price. The gun cleaning cloth included was also a nice surprise.

Tekmat Armorers Bench Mat

Ordered this mat to do my first AR15 build and extremely happy with it. Maybe a bit on the pricey side for what it is but still really nice to have. The backing keeps the mat from sliding around on the work bench and it is thick enough to lay guns on safely and work on them. I also like image on the front describing all of the parts for an AR15.

AR-15 Tekmat... Nice bench addition

A little pricey for what it is, but seems like a good mat, bottom side is very sticky and holds to the bench well.
I haven't used any harsh chemicals on it for gun cleaning, and don't plan too. I don't think any of these style mats would hold up to cleaning solvents very well.
I bought it to have a padded area to lay guns on when working on them so they don't get scratched up, and it works great for that, it looks good too. I would recommend it if your looking to protect the finish on your gun or other projects.

  • Grips the bench well, tougher than regular neoprene

  • A little pricey for what it is
