I like the mechanism. I like the stealth. I like the color. The only issue I have is the diameter adapters are loose, not to the stock seat-post holes, but to the headrest itself. You would think they would send adapters that fit their own product better. I've added tape wrap and may replace the tape with heat-shrink to reduce the rattling. I am a little concerned about how hard the headrest is as well. The matching headrest is soft. The safe headrest is, of course, hard metal with a thin layer of foam so I'm wondering if it might be a bit dangerous in a colision. It fits a 4" 38 special and a Judge really well. Some full sized handguns like the XD-m Elite don't quite fit. A G19 is no problem.
I've been wanting this setup for a while and am really happy with it but it would be nice if the diameter adapters were a better fit.

I had been shopping for a safe for my car for a while until I came across this product.
I used to be a police officer and typically when a car was broken into, the first places criminals would check are the center console and the glove box. Most of the vehicle safes I have looked at were ones you install in your center console so that didn't seem like a great idea.
I feel extremely confident and secure storing my pistol and other valuables in this headrest safe as I don't think anyone would think of checking the headrest for valuables.
Another benefit to this safe is that when I go to the gym I store my wallet in the safe so I don't have to bring it in with me.
The setup and install was fairly easy. You simply attached the correct size posts to the metal plate and then attach that to the headrest using 3 screws. You can then program the biometric lock and numerical code and you are good to go.
This is such an innovative product and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an easy and safe way to store valuables in your car.
