I needed a crush washer. I decided to buy two because why not. I was able to time my muzzle device as anticipated. The end. There is only so much one can opine in regards to a crush washer, but challenge accepted! I had never heard of Tiger Rock before that day, to be honest I clicked on the first 5/8ths crush washer I found that didn't say that it was garbage. I needed it for a project and names weren't important. It arrived, on time and as expected, in two small zip lock baggies, similar to the ones that litter the streets of this once great city. I inspected one of the washers, it was round and even. A slight smile of satisfaction graced my cheek. "Not bad", I thought, "for free shipping". My thoughts went briefly back to an earlier case where I found myself adding $95 to my cart to get free shipping on a $5 part. Not this time, not this order, not today. I made my move. I could feel the pounds per square inch of resistance increase with every degree of rotation. It felt smooth and calculated. After installation, I was greeted with a matching phosphate finish that seemed to flow from muzzle to barrel with out any interruption. The end result was concentric, with no signs of uneven deformation. The only disappointment was that it felt like it was over before it began. Story of my life.
