I like the fact that nothing is rattling inside like many other Buffers
As used in Aero Precision M5 Carbine
Needed a heavier buffer for shooting suppressed with an adjustable gas block to tune in the gas without having the bleed off screw nearly all the way out. No clearance or fitment issues when using in an Aero Precision M5 with a carbine-length buffer tube. The bolt locks to the rear as it should, and passes a function check. Like others have said, no rattle whatsoever! Not all AR-10s are created equal; this was just my experience in my configuration. Your experience may vary.

As you all should know..... AR-10's are not same. Gas tubes, bolt catches, and upper receiver Hight just to name a few.
You can add buffer tubes to that list.

This is a pistol caliber buffer not ar-10
I didn't even think about it I just read the title and bought it.
But the picture says it all.
It will not let the BCA go back far enough to engage the bolt stop on a ar10 carbine.

I am not getting the correct clearance on this Buffer
When I pull the bolt all the way back, I can barely set the lock to hold the bolt open. I have several AR 10's and when swapping out with any other buffer, heavy or light, I always get a little extra play on the bolt past the lock, but not this one.
