Not quite the value you'd think

by Rich S, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on May 28, 2024
Key - Message good tube but comes without a crown nut.
I am assembling the parts for my first pistol build. I had an unused buffer and spring left over from a previous .22 LR build and just needed the tube to have a compliant no-stock pistol. Therefore, I purchased the version with the pad on sale and thought I had made a great deal. However, when it was delivered without a crown nut - the value diminished with the additional cost to separately purchase this low cost item. I was surprised and disappointed that it did not include this part necessary for any application for this tube.
Pros:
  • Quality
  • Delivered on time
Cons:
  • missing key part
Best Used for:
  • conversion of existing tube

Misleading product info

by Kauboy, from TX, United States Written on July 3, 2021
The product title, product info, and package contents all appear to indicate that this is a "buffer tube, pistol", understood to mean, a buffer tube for an AR pistol. There appears to be three models, each with a different pad material. Unfortunately, what was received was just the pad material. Be warned, this does NOT include the buffer tube itself, despite the indicators all over the product page that it does. I wasn't very happy to receive what amounted to a $5 rubber foam pad that I paid ~$12 for.
